Royal Oak is a city that feels like a town – the home that you’ve been longing for. It’s a town of front porches, sidewalk cafes, Peewee hockey, nature walks and parades right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
Royal Oak has its contemporary side, too, with coffee shops, lofts and vibrant new-economy businesses moving here to give their employees the same welcoming environment residents enjoy.
Young families and singles love our ranches and Cape Cod bungalows, then grow into the colonials and foursquares along Vinsetta and Northwood boulevards. All generations love the ease of condo living found our in Boston-style townhouses and contemporary lofts.

The district has one high school, two middle schools (to be combined in 2007), eight elementary schools, an early childhood center with a fully certified staff, preschool for 3-year-olds, childcare for infants to 5-vear-olds, and complete special education services. |
