Royal Oak Concert Band Presents "O Wondrous Day!"
Royal Oak, Mich. December 15th, 2024 – The Royal Oak Concert Band (ROCB) presents “O Wondrous Day” the second concert of its 2024-2025 season, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 15th at the Royal Oak Middle School Auditorium, 709 N. Washington Ave., Royal Oak, MI 48067. The admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and children 12 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.royaloakconcertband.org.Directed by Mr. Kevin R. Czarnik, the ROCB is celebrating the holiday season with a festive program of music featuring special guests the Madrigal Chorale and Santa Claus. The ROCB will delight patrons young and old with a variety of carols and traditional holiday music such as themes from the Nutcracker, Charlie Brown's Christmas, White Christmas, The Night Before Christmas and Sleigh Ride. Additionally, the concert will include a jazzy set by the Woodward Avenue Jazz Orchestra, directed by Mr. James Cann. The 18 piece Woodward Avenue Jazz Orchestra performs a broad repertoire from swing through the modern jazz era.
