Joining a Chamber committee is a great way to volunteer your time and expertise that will benefit both members, as well as, the city’s economy. There is a wide range of interests from which to choose.

Chaired by Christine Chubenko, Your Website Coach. Meetings held the 1st Tuesday of every month at 4:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office. The focus is to increase member retention, participation, and satisfaction.

The current president is Sue Zeiler. The board meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of every month at 8 a.m. Networking lunches are held the 3rd Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., location varies. Click here to see where the BWN meets next.

This committee is chaired by. Jacky Galesky, Northwood Credit Union. Meetings are held bi-monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of that month at 8 a.m. at the Chamber Office. Members: Cheryl Bida, Cheryl Bida CPA. Jim Schneider, Schneider + Smith Architects; Jim Barrett, Beaumont Hospital; Travis Beard, Worry Free Lawn Care

Committee is chaired by Andrey Tomkiw, Tomkiw Dalton PLC. The meetings are held the 4th Thursday of every month at 8:15 a.m. at the Chamber Office. Members: Alan Kroll, Space Care Interiors; Dennis Cowan, Plunkett Cooney PLC, George Greenough, Building Spaces; Michele Barnard, Dr. Tom Moline, Royal Oak Schools Superintendent; David Rogers, Rogers, Mantese & Associates, PC; Tom Lewis, iWerks.

Chaired by Craig Mangold, Holiday Market. This committee meets as needed. Its current focus is on revamping the Chamber’s branding and website. Members: Christine Chubenko, Your Website Coach; Shar Douglas, The Douglas Group; Jim Domanski; Pronto, Rick Van House, Know Advertising.

The membership committee is co-chaired by Preston True, Accomplishment Coaching & Terry O’Rourke, Certified Financial Consultants. The meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Chamber Office. Focus is on increasing membership.

This committee is chaired by Mike Sophiea, Oak City Grille. The committee meets as needed to address specific P&P issues. Current issues include drafting new policy for BWN finances.
